Choose the Right Sewing Machine Stitch for Knit Fabrics

Posted on July 24, 2015 | 0 comments
You can sewing knit fabrics with a sewing machine but each machine handles knit a little differently. I recommend testing different stitches on the fabric you will be sewing in order to determine which stitch has the best stretch and looks the best with your machine.
This graphic from Andrea's Notebook will help you to understand the different stitches available to you. Some fancier machines will also have faux serger stitches.
